Andrea has more than 20 years of experience across a wide range of educational settings, including classroom teaching, school leadership, and governance. She has worked extensively with learners who face significant challenges in reading, writing, and spelling, bringing both expertise and empathy to support their success.
Alongside her direct work with students, Andrea provides teacher training and whole-school implementation support, helping schools embed effective, evidence-based literacy practices. Her focus is on improving literacy outcomes through an equity lens—ensuring every child, regardless of background or learning needs, has the opportunity to thrive.
