Structured Literacy Consultant

Linda originally trained as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in Microbiology. In this role she enjoyed training staff so she made the leap into education. After working as a teacher in independent and state schools, she has spent a number of years in senior management. Key roles have been in change management, curriculum development, coaching and staff development.

In 2019, she supported the introduction of Structured Literacy in her school. This had a profound impact on student progress, convincing staff and parents that this approach was the way to go. Linda has been passionate about educational research, and introducing evidence-based pedagogy into schools. She holds a Masters in Education, endorsed in Digital Technologies. Children are always at the centre of her decision-making, and she loves seeing the positive impact that Structured Literacy approaches have on academic progress and self efficacy.
